IMG_2652Cardiac rehabilitation (cardiac rehab) is a professionally supervised program to help people recover from heart attacks, heart surgery and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) procedures such as stenting and angioplasty. Our cardiac rehab program provides education and counseling services to help heart patients increase physical fitness, reduce cardiac symptoms, improve health and reduce the risk of future heart problems, including heart attack.

For nearly 20 years Lincoln Community Hospital has operated a Transport Team; currently comprised of four Paramedics and four EMT’s, our team of emergency professionals is available on a 24/7 basis.  We have two ambulances providing transport services, and when not on the ambulance our team staffs the Emergency Department. Our partnership with Airlife Denver began in September 2015 and they have a beneficial addition not just to our community but to the communities of our neighboring rural hospital’s as well.

Rehabilitative services are provided to Hospital, Outpatient Clinic, the Care Center, and Home Health (within a 60 mi radius)

Physical Therapy:  Lower extremity and spine disorders to include musculoskeletal and neurological dysfunction; gait, balance and endurance training

Occupational Therapy:  Upper extremity disorders to include musculoskeletal and neurological dysfunction, early intervention development and visual/vestibular retraining.

Speech Therapy:  Speech, swallowing, modified barium swallow studies, cognitive disorders and early intervention development

Our Medical Records team works to get your charts, files and insurance information entered into our electronic health record for all of our clinics, care center, hospital and emergency department. To obtain copies of your own or your children’s health records we must have a release of information. A release may be emailed, faxed, mailed or filled out in person.

Our Dietary department is a fully staffed kitchen that serves the residents of our Care Center, our staff and visitors home cooked meals three times a day with accessibility to a well stocked fresh salad bar, as well as a 24 hour round the clock snacks.  In addition to the food services at LCH, we also have on staff Sam Gross,

AIRLIFE is the Emergency Medical /Critical Care Transport Service has a team stationed at Lincoln Community Hospital in Hugo, which  provides air  critical care transport for both adult and pediatric medical/ trauma patients. The primary medical crews are comprised of two flight nurses or a flight nurse and flight paramedic, each with a minimum of five years experience in critical care and emergency nursing. AIRLIFE also provides High Risk Obstetrical Transport, High Risk Neonatal Transport, and Intra-aortic Balloon Pump Transport. These teams are composed of two caregivers from the following: primary flight team nurse, a specialty trained HROB nurse, nurse practitioner, or respiratory therapist.
