Rolf Kirby, M.D.
Dr. Rolf Kirby is a very diverse and interesting person with a variety of life experiences and skills.
He served in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army. He has a degree in political science from the University of Utah and his medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, N.Y. Saint Anthony Family Medical Residency in Denver is where he completed his training.
He has practiced in several rural communities while working with Docs Who Care since 2004, but for the past 9 years he has made Hugo his “home away from home.” He works 10 days to 2 weeks each month.
Dr. Kirby loves to travel all around the world and especially enjoys hiking. He and Janell have two young girls, Evelyn and Katianna.
Dr. Warren “Zev” Levinson
Warren “Zev” Levinson, M.D. grew up in Montréal, Quebec, Canada, and Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Levinson earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He completed his Internship and Family Medicine Residency at Rose Medical Center / the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Levinson “moonlighted” in Hugo and Limon during the last year of his residency, working with Dr. Fox and Dr. Olson.
After residency, Dr. Levinson worked for a public health clinic in Boulder, as well as at Boulder Community Hospital. He subsequently contracted with Docs Who Care, working in clinics, ERs, and hospitals located in small towns throughout Colorado and Nebraska. Since 2010, Dr. Levinson has almost exclusively worked at Lincoln Community Hospital through Docs Who Care.
When Dr. Levinson is not at work, he is usually swimming, biking, or spending quality time with friends and family. He and his wife Camilla, an OB/GYN physician, have a son, Avi.
Dr. Kent Britton, MD
Dr. Kent Britton graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in 1980 at which time he did his residency of Family Medicine in Fort Worth and then moved to Cortez, Colorado in 1984. In his private practice in Cortez, Dr. Britton practiced a full spectrum of Family Medicine including OB with surgery until 2004 at which time he moved on to work full time and on-call in the Emergency Department at Southwest Memorial Hospital. in 2008 Dr. Britton moved to Greeley, CO and worked providing geriatric care in a nursing home. In 2012 he returned to his roots in rural family medicine and emergency medicine, with Docs Who Care here in Hugo, CO.
