Neighbors helping neighbors

In 1959, Lincoln Community Hospital opened its doors to the residents of the eastern plains of Colorado. Since then for the past 56 years we have strived to bring the best in health care to the rural areas of eastern Colorado. Our vision is to serve Lincoln County and the surrounding areas with the best medical care. LCH has and will continue striving to meet the increasing needs of our community, and also to continue to expand services to offer you the care and dedication each of our neighbors and friends need and deserve.

A brief history of LCH

In the early 1950’s, local residents had a dream to build a hospital. Starting with coffee gatherings, door-to-door canvassing, food sales, art shows, and every conceivable method of raising money, their dream became a reality on May 15, 1959. LCH is currently operating as a 15 bed Critical Access, Level IV Hospital with an attached 35 bed long term care, and 3 Primary Care facilities.
